What is <EyeWitness>?

<EyeWitness> is the name of this edutainment game. Eyewitness is an Interactive Situation Simulation Software (ISSS). This software through high resolution 3D computer graphic together with First Person Perspective to let users experience the Nanking Massacre personally. Comparing with the book or photograph, this software can even let people becomes part of the massacre so have better feeling and understanding about Nanking Massacre.

What is <Nanjing Massacre>?

On the 13th of December 1937,marked the first day of one of the most tragic events in Chinese history: The Nanjing Massacre, when, over the course of 6 weeks, over 300,000 civilians were killed by Japanese troops invading the city.

65 Years late, EyeWitness aims memorializes the event.

EyeWitness is designed to immerse the player in a virtual Nanjing, 65 years ago, and to allow the player to take the role of a cameraman assigned to the Japanese Invasion. Unlike most First Person Shooters,” the genre on which EyeWitness is modeled, the player uses no guns or explosives. Instead, the objective it to take photographs, and to act as a witness to well-known historical events. To ensure it portrays the reality of the of one of the great tragedies of Chinese history, the game makes no compromises, including shootings, bayonetings and beheadings.
