The Multimedia and Innovation Centre (MIC) continues its speaker’s series on the 3rd of February focusing on the constantly changing world of media and technology. This speaker’s series aims to bring together students, alumni and inquisitive minds to discuss changes in media, technology, and the impact these have on our lives and the future.
Tonight's speaker is Ranee Chung of OpenBar. Ranee is a creative director in design and advertising, turned entrepreneur in new media app development. She has served Fortune 500 companies as well as helping start businesses from scratch. She launched the OpenBar app, a unique social platform targeting the nightlife industry. The app not only provides an interactive guide that helps people select venues and happy hours, it's OpenTalk feature makes meeting new people a fun adventure. Ranee will speaking on the subject of "Making Ideas Happen", which will focus on formulating ideas, the process of facing challenges, and taking products to market, etc. We thank her for taking the time to come and talk at Hong Kong PolyU.
